Introduction to Meditation & Mindful Living
Five Week Course
“Peace comes from within. Do not seek it without” Buddha
This is a five part course designed to teach the fundamentals of meditation and mindfulness. These practices will teach you a new perspective on stress and anxiety and how to live a more peaceful life. This course is also recommended for the student who wishes to renew their practice.
You will learn:
How to meditate effectively and establish a daily practice.
Understanding how the mind leads us to suffer and using mindfulness to decrease the suffering.
How to diminish stress and anxiety and gain a greater sense of calmness.
How to awaken your mind and heart for insight and wisdom.
How to cultivate a Metta (loving kindness) practice.
Winter Course & Spring Courses
Dates: Wednesdays: April 3, 10, 17, 27, and May 1
Time: 7:30 – 8:45ish pm. or 10:00 – 11:15 am
Location: Sanibel Home Yoga Studio (chairs provided)
