INTRODUCTION TO MEDITATION & MINDFULNESS
FOUR PART COURSE - Buddhist Meditation & Mindfulness
'Learn how to correctly practice meditation and to live mindfully'
Learn the fundamentals of meditation and mindfulness. These practices will teach you a new perspective towards stress and anxiety and how to live a more peaceful life. This course is also recommended for the student who wishes to renew their practice.
Dates: October 19th, 26th November 2nd and 9th
Time (2 options): 10:00 - 11:15 a.m OR 7:00 - 8:15 p.m.
**Payment is not due until week of class.
You will learn:
How to meditate effectively and establish a daily practice.
Understanding how the mind leads us to suffer and using mindfulness to decrease suffering.
How to diminish stress and anxiety and develop inner peace.
How to practice Metta Meditation (loving kindness).
Zoom Yin Yoga Classes
In the last few years, mindfulness has become quite a popular topic in the West. Karen teaches meditation individually in addition to teaching and introduction courses several times a year.
This five week course will introduce you to the basic principles of a meditation and mindfulness.
Zoom Yin Yoga
Yin yoga is a gentle form of yoga that exercises the deep connective tissues in the body.
